Nummijärvi’s legendary Nummirock starts today. The gates of the event area will open at 8 p.m., and there will be a special four-day midsummer for heavy music lovers – after all, there will also be a large number of concerts that can only be seen at Nummirock this summer. On Friday, the winner of this year’s Wacken Metal Battle band competition will also be announced, who will be able to perform at the sold-out Wacken Open Air in Germany. You can also watch the race live on Nummirock’s YouTube and Facebook starting at 3:30 p.m.

Nummirock’s unique spirit is also present this year.

“The first guests already arrived a couple of weeks ago, and last weekend the pace has only picked up. It’s great when you see how the gang is enjoying themselves,” event promoter Tero Viertola says with satisfaction.

This year’s premium tickets have been sold out at the time of sending this announcement without a couple of tickets, but other ticket types are still available on a limited basis. Instead, the “Hevijajas” that met Nummirock’s accommodation needs have been sold out some time ago.

Finnish summer weather is showing its best sides in Nummijärvi, and the warm weather is expected to continue throughout the weekend.
