BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE & TRIVIUM REVEAL DETAILS OF THE POISONED ASCENDANCY TOUR 2025


Following much speculation online, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE and TRIVIUM have revealed details of a huge, joint arena tour at a press conference which was streamed live from London’s Sanctum Hotel. The Poisoned Ascendancy UK Tour 2025 will see both bands celebrating the 20th anniversary of these respective iconic albums, playing them in full.

“I honestly can’t believe it’s been 20 years since the release of The Poison, and what an incredible 20 years it’s been”, says BFMV frontman Matt Tuck. “I feel so proud of what we’ve achieved as a band in the last two decades and it all started with that debut album. The Poison is such an important part of our lives musically and personally and we know the massive impact it had on the metal world on a global level. This tour will be made even more special as our brothers in Trivium are also joining us on the road to celebrate and play in its entirety their stunning album Ascendancy.”

FROZEN SOUL RELEASE NEW SINGLE ‘GLACIAL DOMINATION (Ft. MATTHEW K. HEAFY)’


BRRR! There’s a chill in the air and it’s courtesy of ice cold death metal crew FROZENSOUL. The band are back with frigid force with the title track to their new album, ‘Glacial Domination’, which also features a guest appearance from TRIVIUM‘s Matthew K. HeafyGlacial Domination is due 19th May via Century Media Records and was produced by Matthew K. Heafy and co-produced by Daniel Schmuck.

SOPHIE LLOYD AND TRIVIUM’S MATT HEAFY TEAM UP FOR NEW SONG


British Guitar Sensation SOPHIE LLOYD has dropped new single “Fall Of Man Ft. Matthew K Heafy”. The second single from her forthcoming debut album, the guitar extraordinaire teams up with TRIVIUM frontman Matthew K Heafy for an epic metal journey.
 
“Working with Matthew K. Heafy has been a dream come true!” says SOPHIE“Trivium have been one of my favourite bands since I was a kid, I used to dye my own Trivium t-shirts and wear them everyday.”

TRIVIUM’S MATTHEW K. HEAFY + NUCLEAR BLAST LAUNCH “METALITY (THE VITALITY ANTHEM)”


Trivium frontman and guitarist Matthew K. Heafy,under the name “Kiichi Chaos,” and leading metal and hard rock label Nuclear Blast have teamed up with leading global esports organization Team Vitality for the launch of “Metality (The Vitality Anthem).”

Crafted by Heafy and mixed by prolific producer Josh Wilbur, “Metality (The Vitality Anthem)” demonstrates the growing parallels between competitive gaming and music. “Metality (The Vitality Anthem)” is the first project in what will be a long-term collaboration between Team Vitality and Nuclear Blast.

Landmark “Roadrunner United” Release + Concert Album Will Be Available in March 2023


Roadrunner United was a project organized by iconic hard rock record label Roadrunner Records to celebrate its 25th anniversary, culminating in the U.S. Billboard Top 200, UK Albums, and Australian ARIA Albums-charting original The All Star Sessions. Four “team captains” (Slipknot’s Joey Jordison, Machine Head’s Robb Flynn, Fear Factory’s Dino Cazares, and Trivium’s Matthew K. Heafy) were chosen to lead 57 artists from 45 past and present Roadrunner bands. It was truly a heavy metal family affair — and then some!
