Silver Lining Music to release No Life ‘Til Leather – A Tribute to Metallica’s Kill ‘Em All on November 14th. The third single from the all-star compilation is from thrash metal icons Testament, the full-throttle cover of Metallica’s anthem ‘Seek & Destroy’.
You can divide the history of heavy metal into two distinct chapters: ‘before Metallica’ and ‘after Metallica’. When the Four Horsemen galloped to the top of dozens of countries’ charts with their self-titled album in 1991, they became the new measuring stick for their genre, and their standard is one that no hard rockers since have matched, let alone outdone. Yet – for all the sellout tours, broken records and reinventive efforts over the last 45 years – they started the same way almost every other noisy band do: ferocious kids driven to shove metal up your ass.
Have you recovered from the last BLOODSTOCK announcement yet? Well hold onto your battle jacket, because your cries of delight over that news can only be matched by today’s reveal.
BLOODSTOCK can now confirm that 2026’s stellar line-up will be further enriched by Bay Area thrash icons TESTAMENT, who have been ripping the UK a new one this month already. With more than 40 years of excellence and influence under their belt, miss their set on the Ronnie James Dio main stage before BLACK LABELSOCIETY on Sunday at your peril. While you wait, they’ve just dropped their brand new album, Para Bellum, only yesterday via Nuclear Blast – check out its first single ‘Infanticide A.I.’ here.
Advent Advent – and the first candle burns! What this means for the Wacken Metalhead is pretty clear: W:O:A has revealed its first December-Sunday band announcements! To go in with a bang, we present to you two heavyweight champions.
Both Testament and Armored Saint will be joining us back on the field and everyone can probably agree that both bands were able to absolutely smash their Holy Ground gigs every time.
Welcome to Halloween – the chosen release date for the new EP from Tom Reynold‘s Foul Body Autopsy – Crucifix Dreams! To celebrate Crucifix Dreams’ bloody emergence into the world Tom has unveiled a new lyric video to accompany the EP’s incredible title track. Immerse yourselves in the visuals drawn from the stunning artwork of Dan Goldsworthy (Aborted, Corpsegrinder, Inhuman Condition etc) and the searing, merciless sounds that were brought to life by Tom backed by a veritable metal dream team: Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth) on drums and Steve Di Giorgio (Testament) on bass, with guitar solos being provided by Andy LaRocque (King Diamond) and Bobby Koelble (Death) and an unnerving spoken word intro from Simon Shaw (Temple of Lies).
Nuclear Blast is proud to announce that the complete TESTAMENT catalogue has been acquired and the band signed for an additional 3 albums in the future! The signing took place before the band’s fiery performance at Hellfest this past weekend. Fans will now be able to listen to the band’s seminal albums The Legacy and The New Order on the DSP of their choice!
Bay area thrash metal giants TESTAMENT unleashed their highly acclaimed thirteenth studio album, Titans Of Creation, via Nuclear Blast in 2020.
Today, TESTAMENT have released the Titans Of Creation Video Album. The limited-edition collectible features performance videos of all the tracks on the record. The footage was compiled at a soundstage in San Francisco, and was edited into music video-style clips, now available on Blu-Ray accompanying the CD with bonus photos and liner notes, plus a button and sticker in a longbox. Staying true to the record, the performances feature Gene Hoglan behind the kit! This version is limited to 6,500 units worldwide.
