Berlin-based electronic-rock duo Bullet Height, featuring Jon Courtney and Sammi Doll, have announced the release of their debut album ‘No Atonement’ for 19th May 2017 via Superball Music / Sony Music. Featuring the band’s previous two singles ‘Bastion’ & ‘Hold Together’, the album features 10 tracks of dark, primal conviction, pulped with the avant-garde, fusing industrialised electronica, heavy guitars and heartbreakingly sweet melodies.
The band comments: “Making ‘No Atonement’ was both a challenge and an adventure – there were highs & lows, battles & triumphs – but we came out intact. We’re extremely proud of the body of work & can’t wait to get it out there.”
I left London, moved to Berlin, rented a dirt cheap room in an old DDR building and started battering out the music that would go on to become Bullet Height,” says Jon Courtney, speaking about the dispersal of his former band Pure Reason Revolution. “I wanted to produce something darker and heavier than I’d ever created.”

The album is now available to pre-order on CD & limited green vinyl LP, including a signed art-card while stocks last, here:https://bulletheight.tmstor.es/
“I left Los Angeles and moved to Berlin,” Sammi Doll explains. “It was to join IAMX on tour. But when the singer, Chris Corner fell ill, it was cancelled. Which was when I met Jon. Without a direction in a new city, recording this album granted me the headspace to channel a lot of personal demons into something simultaneously positive, dark and alluring.”
A recording contract with Superball Music (part of the Sony Music group of labels) followed suit and whilst putting the finishing touches to the album, Bullet Height began gigging to an enthusiastic Berlin underground. “It’s been quite the journey since we’ve completed the album,”comments Sammi Doll. “Everything from the mixes to the forming the live element. It’s shaped into something much bigger than we both expected.” And Courtney concurs. “Now that we’re playing shows it all feels real. We’re excited at the prospect of expanding out from the Berlin scene and getting out there.”
Like the best of artists, fear is the only thing they fear. Free living and creating on their own terms is the fuel in both their tanks. Together they’ve reached Bullet Height. A product of ex-patriot London, set in dissident Berlin. Circa 2017.

Chaotic hardcore quartet, American Standards have announced their upcoming full length titled, Anti-Melody which is set to release April 28th on all digital music outlets. Off the forthcoming record comes the first single “Writers Block Party“, giving a good glimpse into the group’s new record. The new single premiered exclusively on Lambgoat.
“What started as social commentary on the growing divide in our society became very personal when our founding guitarist (Cody Conrad) passed of suicide and then soon after, my father of cancer. We went back in to re-write much of the album and in a lot of ways used it as therapy to deal with the experiences. Although very personal, at its core Anti-Melody is centered around the universal theme of separation on many levels.” -Vocalist, Brandon Kellum
