Switzerland’s Sum Of R are Reto Mäder and Fabio Costa. The Band exists since 2008 and was created by Reto Mäder to construct/deconstruct sound in ways that infest and cloud the interior of the mind. Sum Of R creates slow moving instrumental music with a sensibility for hypnotic and complex song structures.

NevBorn released a stunning teaser for their upcoming EP Daidalos which will be out on Sep. 29th via Cold Smoke Records and Czar Of Bullets.

Releasing their debut album in 2015 on Hummus Records after a few demos, NevBorn is a band from West Switzerland that has never stopped to evolve, change, and expand. Now composed of five different but determined minds, their music is inspired of numerous types, such as no one has never succeeded in defining them in one and only one word. Many tried though: “NevBorn’s music is a heavy/ambient amalgam … with neatly layered instrumentations that evoke all kinds of sonically emotive provocations…” (Metal Discovery, 2015), “…Five Horizons (debut album title) with its bright and abrasive melodies that combines post sounds (hardcore, metal and rock) in an optimal way” (The Pit of the Damned, 2015), “NevBorn might have started a musical trend without realizing it” (Core and Co, 2015).

Portland, OR ‘Street Doom’ quartet R.I.P. shares the first single from their forthcoming sophomore album Street Reaper today. Hear and share “The Other Side” via Bandcamp and YouTube. Metal Injection features the song HERE.
When R.I.P. came crawling out of the sewers of Portland, OR last year, their grimy, sleazy Street Doom was already a fully formed monstrosity that quickly infected the minds of everyone it encountered. Now, borne from the band’s declining state of mental health and increasing focus on songwriting, Street Reaper is an even more unhinged and menacing album than their 2016 debut In The Wind.

Vulture Industries release second new song

VULTURE INDUSTRIES are unveiling the second track taken from their forthcoming album, ‘Stranger Times’, which has been scheduled for release on September 22nd.

VULTURE INDUSTRIES comment: “The song ‘Strangers’ defined the sound for our new album. It became a focal point during the production process and was the first song that we mixed. This track had a slow birth, starting out in a completely different shape and expression. In the end, the opening riff remained the only part left from the original draft. ‘Strangers’ is one of two rather epic pieces on the album. It blends progressive rock and post-metal influences with a strong chorus and guitar leads that could make Roky Erickson howl.”

NEMECIC RELEASES NEW SINGLE, DEBUT ALBUM ”THE DEATHCANTATION” OUT SEPTEMBER 1ST

The second single off the debut album of Jyväskylä, Finland -based metal group NEMECIC is out. ”Ouroboros” is the second taste from the album ”The Deathcantation”, which will be released August 18th (Finland) and September 1st (internationally) through Inverse Records.

Like the previous single ”Smoke Electric”, the new song is accompanied by a lyric video by Anssi Korhonen with artwork by the band’s drummer Niko Anttila.

Founded in Heinola in 2005, Nemecic combines elements of different metal genres in their music. Comparisons have been made to such groups as Lamb of God, Fear Factory and even Alice in Chains. Having entered a hiatus in 2012 and after going through a couple of changes in the lineup, the band finally entered Juho Räihä‘s SoundSpiral Audio studio in Kouvola in January 2017.
