Heavy Group have announced that the fifth annual Heavy Music Awards will take place as a full, in-person event at the 2,300 capacity O2 Forum Kentish Town on Thursday 02 September 2021.
In addition, following the staggering success of HMA20’s live streamed online award show (due to Covid-19) – which saw 177,000 live viewers tuned in – the event will also be streamed worldwide on Twitch.
This is the opening line of an album that would change the lives of some young Finnish musicians with fire in their hearts and an ocean full of sweet music in their souls. An album that would also influence thousands of people all over the world for years to come. Once, Nightwish‘s fifth studio album saw the light of day on June 7th 2004 – it changed the metal world completely and made the band living legends.
TIMES OF GRACE, featuring Adam Dutkiewicz and Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage, will release their eagerly awaited second album Songs of Loss and Separation on July 16 via the band’s own imprint label, Wicked Good Records, distributed by ADA Worldwide.
The band has just shared the second single and video for “Medusa,” directed by Nick Hipa. The song originally premiered at SiriusXM’s Octane.
Tomorrow, on June 12th, Dutch symphonic metal heavyweights EPICA will broadcast their first-ever streaming event titled Ωmega Alive. This monumental show will be the biggest stage production of the band to date and will see the band perform their biggest hits – including first ever live performances of their latest album “Omega” – in a scenery of 5 different acts, including choirs, dancers, acrobats and massive show effects. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainty that all regions in Europe will be able to restore and provide a safe environment for concerts this autumn, MESHUGGAH have unfortunately had to make the decision to push back their European headline tour dates to May 2022.
Seattle metallers Dragged Under are smashing their way into summer 2021 with the release of the We’ll Do It Live EP – out via Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group on 6th August – which drops as they prepare to embark on a 30 date US tour with the mighty Beartooth. They have also revealed dates for their first-ever European tour in June 2022, which travels through headline dates in Germany and the UK, as well as a special appearance supporting The Ghost Inside at Brixton Academy, London.
