ANGELUS APATRIDA – Announce summer dates across Europe; Working on new material!

After a relentless touring campaign for their latest and much acclaimed 5th album, “Hidden Evolution”, Spanish Thrash Metallers ANGELUS APATRIDA will be facing yet another busy summer of live-activities, but will also continue working on new material for their next release.

Here is a status-update by the band, who have recently also been announced as support act for upcoming shows in Spain by Slayer: “Here comes the summer! And what a great one it seems…We will keep ourselves busy with some really killer stuff like opening for Slayer in Spain, Bang Your Head in Germany or Metaldays in Slovenia, and many others. Hope we could see you all there, would be great, but probably unrealistic, so we will make it easy for you and come up with our live album & DVD soon, so keep your eyes open for that too. No better way to discharge batteries before getting ourselves ready to enter the studio to record a new album and get loaded again!”

ANGELUS APATRIDA’s latest album, “Hidden Evolution”, entered the national sales charts in the band’s home of Spain on an amazing # 2 (!) spot. The album’s artwork was handled by Gyula Havancsák / Hjules.com (Annihilator, Destruction, Stratovarius, etc.). “Hidden Evolution” was once again recorded in Moita, Portugal at Ultrasound Studio with producer Daniel Cardoso (Anneke Van Giersbergen, Anathema, etc.) and features a lead-guitar guest-appearance by Chris Amott (Armageddon, ex Arch Enemy) on the song “Speed Of Light”.

LACUNA COIL – re-sign with Century Media Records, embark on more extensive touring worldwide

While Italian Metal icons LACUNA COIL are celebrating their 20 year anniversary it is time to open another chapter in the relationship between the band and their long-term label: LACUNA COIL have just signed a new deal with Century Media Records.

Antje Lange, General Manager International of Century Media Records: “Century Media Records is very happy that LACUNA COIL have renewed their contract with us and we are very much looking forward to the next albums of this exceptional Italian band. Century Media appreciates the continuous trust of the band. The recent album ’Delirium’ charted in 12 countries and the band is touring around the globe.”

DR. LIVING DEAD! Working on new studio album for autumn 2017

Swedish crossover kings DR LIVING DEAD! are set to enter the studio this weekend to record their fourth full length album, the follow up to 2015’s “Crush the Sublime Gods” released via Century Media Records.

The recording will take place in Studio Rovljud in Örebro, Sweden and will again be helmed by Martin Jacobsson and Anders Alexandersson who both worked with the band on the previous effort as well.

Finnish melodic death metal outfit OMNIUM GATHERUM has just announced a European co-headline tour with Skálmöld for this fall! They will be accompanied by their fellow countrymen Stam1na.

Guitarist Markus Vanhala comments: “Here we go again, after just ending a very succesful and great European tour with Amon Amarth and Dark Tranquillity few days ago, we’re happy to announce immediately even more European touring for autumn – as also this time we’ll be able to play a longer headline set of OG classics! We’ll be joining our nordic forces with the Icelanders of Skalmöld to co-headline a trek called “The Arctic Circle Alliance” tour, as also take out our good Finnish fellows of Stam1na as the opener.
