NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS are happy to announce the signing of new Finnish top-class metal band CROWNSHIFT, who have also recently joined the roster of Till Dawn They Count Ltd management (Nightwish, Beast In Black, Sonata Arctica). Born as the long-time idea of four friends, CROWNSHIFT are a new high standing metal act from Finland. The members, who come from the ranks of Finland’s finest exports such as Nightwish, Children Of Bodom, Wintersun and Finntroll, are thrilled to start a new journey together and spread their authentic sonic print across the globe.
Finnish melodic death metal band CHILDREN OF BODOM will release the closing album of their career, A Chapter Called… Children of Bodom (Final Show in Helsinki Ice Hall 2019), on 15th December via Spinefarm.

The EP that was recorded back in Finland, was intended to be followed by a full-length album later in the year – now embodies a whole new meaning and remains as the only work by BODOM AFTER MIDNIGHT.Paint the Sky with Blood is undeniable evidence of the late Alexi Laiho’s artistic spirit and his extraordinary musical skills in synthesis with his absolutely talented bandmates Daniel Freyberg, Waltteri Väyrynen, Mitja Toivonen and live keyboardist Vili Itäpelto. Not only do the band’s final recordings see the light today, but the matching visualizer for “Payback’s A Bitch” is also out now via Napalm Records.
When matchless vocalist/guitarist Alexi Laiho and guitarist Daniel Freyberg joined forces with Waltteri Väyrynen, Mitja Toivonen and live keyboardist Vili Itäpelto to form the explosive new metal pillar BODOM AFTER MIDNIGHT, it was meant to mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter. Their sonic plans were massive – including an EP release in the spring followed by a full-length album later in the year. But this promising force ended far too soon in very late 2020.
