SANCTUARY: LAUNCH “DIE FOR MY SINS (REMASTERED 1986 DEMO) OFF “INCEPTION” RELEASE!

Sanctuary: launch “Die For My Sins (remastered 1986 demo) off “Inception” release!
Century Media Records and legendary US metal act SANCTUARY have teamed up to release “Inception”, a collection of presumed lost 1986 studio recordings, on February 24, 2017.

Magically restored, remixed and remastered by Zeuss (Queensrÿche, Hatebreed), SANCTUARY now present the first track off this release, guitarist Lenny Rutledge comments:
“‘Die for My Sins’ was always one of my favorite SANCTUARY songs to play live. On the “Inception” version we left off the intro and the song starts right into the main riff. I think this version has a real “in your face” edge to it. I’m excited that after much effort we were able to restore these nearly destroyed master tapes. Now we can share the proper audio versions with all of our fans!”

“Inception” will be available as Gatefold LP on 180 gram vinyl and comes with a 12-page LP-sized booklet, poster, and the album on CD as additional extra. Apart from that it will be released as Special Edition CD Digipak with a 28-page booklet, and digital album.
Apart from rare photos, flyers, artwork sketches, the booklet also offers detailed liner notes by Lenny Rutledge covering SANCTUARY’s early history.

Recorded in March of 1986 (“Soldiers Of Steel”, “Battle Angels”) at Triad Studios in Redmond, Washington and Studio One in White Center between April and July 1986, “Inception” contains previously unreleased highlights as “Dream of The Incubus” and “I Am Insane” as well as several classic “Refuge Denied” songs allowing you to delve deep into the Seattle legend’s beginnings.

With several festivals already booked for next year, a new album in the works, “Inception” being released, 2017 shall be the year when past and future of SANCTUARY unite. Look forward to the next assault of the soldiers of steel!

British heavy metal five-piece, Synaptik from Norwich, UK recently announced the re-release of their incredibly successful debut album, ‘The Mechanisms of Consequence’ as a heavier remixed album, due out on January 30^th.

The Norwich men show no signs of slowing down as they are set to make a huge impact in 2017 by following it up with the release of their highly anticipated sophomore album, ‘Justify & Reason’, out March 10^th.

US Power/Trash metal act Wretch has released album art , tracklist and and a Release Date of their upcoming album which will be released: 24th February 2017

US power/thrash metal act WRETCH are pioneers of their local Cleveland metal scene and have since forged ahead to become an internationally recognized force of powerful melodic metal with festival performances in Germany and Greece. ANTARKTIS (IN MOURNING, OCTOBER TIDE) SIGN WITH AGONIA RECORDS

Swedish emotion-driven, post-rock/metal newcomer act ANTARKTIS has signed a record deal with Agonia Records. The group features two full-time members of IN MOURNING, who instead of entertaining the fact of being labeled as a side project, decided to dedicate their time & venture off into a territory uncharted by their mother band. Said members are guitarists Björn Pettersson and Tobias Netzell (ex-OCTOBER TIDE), both co-founders. In ANTARKTIS, they’re accompanied by vocalist and bassist Daniel Jansson (IKHON) together with drummer Jonas Martinsson (ME THE TIGER, NECROSAVANT). The band is currently working on a debut album.

Commented by ANTARKTIS: “We are super stoked to announce that we are getting on board with Agonia Records for future collaborations! We have been silent for some time now but we’re working on a full length album and we might have some additional stuff coming up too. Good vibes”.

ANTARKTIS first started out as an after work side project from Björn and Tobias many years ago. A few songs were made but the idea of a band was laid on ice before it ever saw the light of day. Years later ideas were picked up again and given new life in 2013 by a complete band line-up consisting of Björn and Tobias in company of Jonas on drums and Daniel on bass and lead vocals. A debut EP was recorded under former band name Majalis.

As a band consisting only of members being a part of other musical acts, ANTARKTIS might be considered somewhat of a side project, but a side project in the shape of a real band getting great portions of dedication and love from its members. Since the release of the debut EP, the band has done a bunch of live shows, festivals and a shorter tour. Steadily growing closer as a unit, continuously writing and working on new material.

NOCTURNAL GRAVES formed in Melbourne, Australia in 2004. Two well received demos, ‘Profanation of Innocence’ and ‘Deathstorm’ followed in the same year. Quickly scoring a record deal, the band officially released the ‘Necromancer’ 7″ (2006) before unleashing their debut full-length ‘Satan’s Cross’ (2007). The Australians hit Europe in 2009 and celebrated the event with ‘The Gravespirit Sessions’ Split. Former DESTRÖYER 666 and also RAZOR OF OCCAM guitarist Shrapnel and drummer L.W. joined in 2012. NOCTURNAL GRAVES widely extended their international fanbase with the release of their sophomore album “…From the Bloodline of Cain” (2014), which resulted in an invitation to the 2016 edition of Maryland Deathfest and more shows in the US. The band supported the tour with a limited 7″ EP ‘Sharpen the Knives / Lead us to the Endless Fire’.
