Northumbrian monastic doom instigators Arð team up with My Dying Bride frontman Aaron Stainthorpe for the special double album launch event “Doom in Springtime” at the Dark Earth record store in Liverpool, UK this Sunday, April 21 at 17:00 – 18:30 BST.
The “Doom in Springtime” event includes a rare solo perfomance by Arð mastermind Mark Deeks, Aaron Stainthorpe reciting his poetry for the first time in front of an audience, and the first ever unique collaboration of both artists with a surprise live rendition of a classic. In addition to this, both artists will sign their new albums that will be made available ahead of the official release dates for the audience at Dark Earth.

ARCHITECTS RELEASE NEW SINGLE ‘CURSE’
Once again enthralling listeners with their signature sonic brutality, acclaimed British metalcore outfit Architects kick off 2024 with an explosive new single, ‘Curse.’ Produced by Jordan Fish, the track is available everywhere via Epitaph Records. In addition to the single, the band announces the anticipated second leg of their North American tour.
Instantly grabbing attention with a guttural scream by frontman Sam Carter, ‘Curse’ is rife with blast beats, massive guitar riffs, and Carter’s impressive vocal range as he switches between aggressive verses and a melodic chorus. The track is elevated by the pummeling bridge that sees the band embracing their roots with one of their heaviest, most eruptive breakdowns to date. Following the bridge with a stripped-back final pre-chorus, ‘Curse’ is a testament to the intensity and versatility that has earned Architects millions of fans across the globe.

Essex-based death metallers BEYOND EXTINCTION have released a brand new music video for the single ‘Reverse Life Support’ which features guest vocals from Harbinger‘s Dilan Alves. URNE Announces First Ever UK Headline Tour
Following a rapturously received set on the main stage at BLOODSTOCK Festival and an exclusive release show in Camden’s Black Heart, London metal trio URNE have announced their first ever headline tour of the UK.
“We are extremely excited to announce our first UK headline tour! This will be the first time we debut a lot of the songs from A Feast On Sorrow, and it is also a chance for us to play some older songs we have never played before.
We have a really exciting tour line-up to announce too, so keep your eyes peeled for that announcement.”
