Jamie Campbell Bower of Stranger Things Launches New Band, BloodMagic & Unveils First Single ‘Death / Rebirth’

BloodMagic marks a new venture for the actor and musician Jamie Campbell Bower. He is best known for playing Vecna in the popular Stranger Things TV series and also previously fronted punk rock band Counterfeit, which dissolved in 2020.

Now Jamie is back with his new musical post-hardcore project titled BloodMagic. The debut single ‘Death / Rebirth’ has been unleashed, and you can check out the official music video for it below:

Loathe, having only just returned from a colossal US tour supporting Code Orange, are proud to announce that they will be supporting American post-hardcore legends Glassjaw in London later this month. Last year, Vermilia, who released her debut album “Kätkyt”, earned much praise from the media and sparked debate in various forums.

Now, Vermilia has produced another slightly more surprising release: a cover version of “Täällä pohjantähden alla”, originally composed by Petri Laaksonen and written by Turkka Mali. Vermilia’s interpretation of “Täällä pohjantähden alla” has transformed the song in a profound way which could lead one to believe the original work to be a majestic Black Metal composition in its own right.

The cover song was released as a single release on March 1st in both digital and physical editions.
