Caligula’s Horse, a band at the forefront of Australia’s progressive rock scene, recently debuted the track ‘Will’s Song (Let the Colours Run)’, the first track taken from the forthcoming new album ‘In Contact’ out 15th September 2017. Now they are premiering the music video for the track, directed by the band’s guitarist Adrian Goleby.
Vocalist Jim Grey explains: “The story of ‘Will’s Song’ is centred around pride and ambition, the human tendency toward self-destruction, the last demand of a proud old man that time is not decay and he is ‘that young man still’.” Goleby has mirrored this in the clouded performances, obscured figures either silhouetted in smoke and colourful light or dissolving into nothing, and the frenetic visuals truly capture the kinetic energy of the song.
Newest Rise Records signees Kublai Khan have dropped the video for the new song “The Hammer.”

Finnish WACKEN METAL BATTLE winner ‘FROM THE VOID’ released their brutal music video ‘MAN CREATED GOD’.
Formed in the early winter of 2009, FROM THE VOID is a black metal group from northern Finland bringing forth their gospel of the end times, fire, light, ashes and truth.
Calgary’ AB’s masters of straight ahead riff-rock wizardry WOODHAWK will be hitting the road this September for their second Western Canadian tour (AB/SK/BC) (dates listed below) in support of their full length album ‘Beyond The Sun’ released this past April. The album was produced by the band with Jesse Gander (Bison, Japandroids) to follow their 2014 debut EP. Made of equal parts 1970’s Birmingham and a myriad of 21st century heavy who’s who, WOODHAWK are purveyors of riff-centric rock and roll. Capable and original, the band is able to craft anthemic fist-pumping songs while forgoing tired stoner rock clichés. With time travel tested themes of science fiction, swords and sorcery, the band’s lyrics are born from snowy winters, hot practice spaces and pages of dog-eared paperbacks. While the musicianship reinforces recollections of Black Sabbath, modern influences that have helped you smash air drums or highway speed limits are undeniably present.

Warner Music Canada recording artists Courage My Love have premiered a new video for ‘Animal Heart’ with Rock Sound. The track is taken from their debut album Synesthesiawhich is out now.
Singer Mercedes says “For this video we were very inspired by 70s and 80s style horror movies, VHS, glitches, and pushing the boundaries of the contrast between beauty and the unsettling. We wanted to flip the script of the hunter and the hunted. We wanted to embody the feeling of animalistic, monstrous lust and explore the dark side of love. The lyrics of Animal Heart are about a love so passionate, that it causes you to regress into a jealous, obsessive version of yourself. ARCH ENEMY – reveal music video for debut single, “The World Is Yours”
ARCH ENEMY have risen once again and are ready to accelerate at full force as they unleash the masterful new single, “The World Is Yours”, taken from their forthcoming album, “Will To Power”, due out on September 8 via CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS worldwide.
Mastermind Michael Amott comments, “We’ve been hard at work on the new album for a while now and we’re proud to present the first taste of new Arch Enemy music in over three years with our new single and video, ‘The World Is Yours’! This was the first song I wrote for the upcoming ‘Will To Power’ album and Daniel (Erlandsson, drums) helped me arrange and finish it up. One of many songs we co-wrote and co-produced this time around. We had a blast recording together with the full band in the south of Sweden and then mixing with Jens Bogren, who did a superb mix and mastering – in my opinion even surpassing the epic sound on our previous record, ‘War Eternal’.
