Evanescence has just launched a previously unreleased version of their majestic hit “My Immortal” which was recorded at London’s The O2 on November 14th 2022. The single is certified gold in the US and platinum in Australia. In 2005, it received Grammy and MTV Video nominations for the haunting David Mould-directed video, which was filmed in black and white in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona.

EPICA reveal new video of ‘Beyond The Matrix (Live At The AFAS Live)’
On October 6th, EPICA’s new digital EP Live At The AFAS Live will be finally available, and today the band reveal another uplifting hit with ‘Beyond The Matrix’.

Canadian sci-fi metal innovators VOÏVOD celebrated 40 eventful years of existence in 2023 with the release of their special anniversary studio album entitled Morgöth Tales, out now via Century Media Records, which entered the official album sales charts in Germany at #36 and in Switzerland at #94. The band have now shared a new live video for the song ‘Thrashing Rage’, recorded at Germany’s Rock Hard Festival.

Rocking Heels: Live at Metal Church is the document of a very special concert in the idyllic setting of Wacken Church. It will be released on August 11, 2023 on earMUSIC and is the first release of the live series Rocking Heels.
In front of just 300 handpicked fans, this onetime-only event opened the Wacken Open Air Festival in 2016. Tarja presents unique arrangements of rock and heavy metal classics by her favorite artists including “Numb” by Linkin Park, In Flames’ “Alias,” Metallica’s “The Unforgiven,” songs by Joe Satriani and Slipknot, as well as a Nightwish song and Tarja originals.

EPICA release new single ‘Unleashed (Live at the AFAS Live)’
After recently performing as direct support to Metallica for two spectacular shows in Paris and Hamburg, Symphonic metallers EPICA return with a another new live single from their European headline tour. The bombastic ‘Unleashed’ was recorded at Amsterdam’s AFAS Live in January 2023. Following the announcement of the band’s new live album, ‘Live: Eastern Forces of Evil 2022’, Sigh now give us the first experience of what fans can expect in the form of the performance of ‘Mayonaka no Kaii’.
Taken from 2022’s ‘Shiki’ album, ‘Mayonaka no Kaii’ brings with it a spectral atmosphere which is no coincidence considering Mirai’s frightful experience that informed the song.
