Season of Mist are proud to announce the signing of ABYSMAL DAWN. The Californian extreme metal stalwarts will release their much anticipated fifth album through Season of Mist.

ABYSMAL DAWN comment: “We’re very happy to be signed to such an awesome and respected label like Season Of Mist. The people there are all die-hard metalheads and we’re glad to be a part of such an enthusiastic and strong team. We also have a long standing friendship with US label manager Gordon Conrad, who originally signed us. Working with Gordon, Michael, and the other amazing people at the label was just a no-brainer. We’re very excited about the future of ABYSMAL DAWN these days, and judging by the new material that we’ve been working on, some great things are to come soon enough.”

Tethra Release Disturbing New Video For Title Track ‘Like Crows For The Earth’

Tethra’s full-length album, “Like Crows for The Earth”, which was recorded and mixed by Matt Stancioiu (Labyrinth) at Elnor Studios and mastered by Greg Chandles (Esoteric) at Priory Studios. reveals how much the band has evolved sonically since their 2013 album, “Drown into the Sea of Life”. The album was released in Europe on February 11th via Sliptrick Records, and is now unleashed in the US, as it came out on July 23rd.

In support of their new album, the band have just released a new video for the title track ‘Like Crows For The Earth’. This is the first full official video from the album following The Groundfeeder released earlier in the year.

Tethra’s new video conveys a strong message, the band explained about the imagery: ”The deliberately strong and provocative images you can see in the video are meant to reflect on the indiscriminate exploitation that human beings are doing daily to the damage of the planet hosting us.Our symbolic sacrifice wants to be a warning and a message: we are one with nature, and only by taking care of it we can favour the rebirth and have a darker future.”

“We Owe You Nothing” marks the highest point in the band’s constant evolution and once more makes it hard to narrow down its sound to some pre-existing labels. Effortlessly blending the eerie, dissonant black metal sound the band is well-known for with muscular sludge/doom riffs and a subtle, nihilistic punk attitude, “We Owe You Nothing” defines the band’s personality more than ever, reaffirming its unique sound.
