Finnish melodic metal band Evil Drive is taking big steps forward with their upcoming 3rd album, both musically and technically.
Evil Drive, started in 2013, plays melodic metal. Their music combines the melodic side of Iron Maiden, the heaviness of Slayer and a very charismatic female singer. Evil Drive has published 2 full-length albums: The Land of The Dead (2016) and Ragemaker (2018).  Both albums received excellent feedback from the media. The much awaited third album Demons Within will be published 2.4.2021 worldwide by  Reaper Entertainment Europe and it will be distributed by Universal Music.

Vile cynic

Hailing from the windy, gritty city of Chicago comes Vile Cynic with their newest EP, agony. This is an intense listening experience that the metal heads are begging for. “ tools for the tormentor” comes out swinging and decimates the entire room. This maniacal and riff driven death mayhem is fueled by technical guitar playing, percussion insanity and the howls of their cynically wise “call it as i see” lyrical content. This song has killer dynamics, harmony guitars, and the instrumentation is incendiary. I don’t like to use that word, but it’s the only thing that comes to mind after listening to this for the thousandth time. I love the breakdowns, the beats, the lyrics, this is an aggressive fucking tune that will not get over.

Omination – NGR [Apocalyptic Funeral Doom from Tunisia]

The long-awaited new full-length album from the Tunisian Apocalyptic Funeral Doom Metal entity “Omination” is upon us! An absolute mammoth of a record, “NGR” (The New Golgotha Repvbliq) contains over an hour of some of the most encapsulating and ominous funeral doom metal to come out in quite some time. Combining abrasive and dissonant riffs with a shroud of atmospheric and monumental church organ and choirs, the instrumental aspect of this record is already massive, which is only enhanced by Fedor’s forceful growls, belted with conviction and strength.
The music and overall atmosphere of Omination is derived from the last cathedral, preached by the prophesying wanderer. Originally started as a solo project from Fedor Kovalevsky (Vielikan, Severe Agony), Omination enters 2021 as a full band with Nessim Toumi and Zied Kochbati, set to prophesize our downfall.
“NGR” will be released on a 6 panel digipack on Friday February 5, 2021.

THE DEVILS BASSIST. BRackish tide takes you down

1.Why Bass?

Why not bass? Actually it just comes natural to me. I play guitar and drums but there is just
something about bass and the low end that is just a part of me.

2.Do you think it is unfair or just lack of knowledge bass gets so little credit?

Silenced Minstrel (age 44 years, born Saiful Nizam Shukor, 28 th March 1976) was a full time singer, songwriter musician from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Been playing music since 1991 he co-founded HALUN, a gothic black metal band back in 1996, produced several demos, one EP and one LP before the badly deformed monstrosity was laid to rest in 2015. Writing and producing mostly in his bedroom studio nicknamed “Sky Panacea Enterprise” he spent the entire 2016 gathering writing and recording materials for his debut album “Volume 1” choosing to name it as such as to not make it sounds too rockstar-ish.
