GHOSTS OF ATLANTIS: UK Extreme Metal Act Featuring DEVILMENT Guitarist RELEASE “The Lost Compass”

UK symphonic death metallers GHOSTS OF ATLANTIS, featuring Devilment guitarist Colin Parks, is proud to announce the their second single, “The Lost Compass”.

Check out the official lyric video below:

Recorded and produced by Parks at Devilhead Studios and mastered by James Stephenson at Stymphalian Productions, Metal Injection writer Greg Kennelty calls the single “…a beefy Septicflesh with clean vocals.”

GHOSTS OF ATLANTIS announced their debut album earlier this month and will be released March 26, 2021, via Swedish metal label Black Lion Records. The band’s first single, “Halls of Lemuria,” was earlier this year.

“‘For me, personally, I always wanted to end the album on a high, and this track is exactly that,” says vocalist Phil Primmer. “It fits perfect as we look back over the journey of the Atlantian people in ‘The Lost Compass.’

“I like to compare this to the adventures we take throughout life in efforts to find the paths we are destined. Although there are strong narratives and lore based around the lyrics, created by Colin and myself, we worked on how there can be positivity in such a crazy time and how to mold these stories into positive looks at life today,” the GHOSTS OF ATLANTIS vocalist continues.

“Like when you feel dragged down and pulled under, but yet still find the strength to move forward. Hopefully, people struggling may listen and take some hope to get help or reach out to get back on their journey.”

Hailing from deepest, darkest Suffolk, GHOSTS OF ATLANTIS is a metal band carrying a wealth of experience and professionalism. Like both Cradle of Filth and Devilment before it, the band continues the tradition and staple of the Witch County trademark sound, encompassing all that is dark, brooding, and macabre.

The members of GHOSTS OF ATLANTIS have performed in bands together for the past nine years and have been part of legendary labels such as Nuclear Blast and Candlelight Records. Appearing on festivals like Waken Open Air and Bloodstock, just to name a few, these English extremists are eager to ravish fans, new and old, on stage very soon.
